Accommodations
Trinidad is a very beautiful island. Since its main activity is the oil industry, the tourism is still not fully developed and most of the big hotels are in the heart of the capital. For the wedding, we suggest to stay near of Maracas beach or Las Cuevas beach. There are not so many options, but the setting is beautiful. If possible, we would recommend to rent a car, but just be aware that in Trinidad they drive on the opposite side of the road from the American system. Major car rental agencies are located on site in Trinidad's only international airport--Piarco International.
The North Deck Cabins

The North Deck is building cabins that will be ready soon. The cost is about $150-200. Two people can be accommodated in each cabin.

There there, you will be able to have a 30min walk to the beach, the only detail is that it is pretty steep--great exercise.
Maracas Bay Hotel

Airbnb

There are a variety of Airbnbs available, make sure they are located near or pretty near Maracas bay or Las Cuevas beach, on the North Coast Road (The North Deck is just off this road before you arrive to Maracas Bay). Our three festivities will be there For those who want to be closer to the amenities of the city, the neighborhood of Maraval is the best option. Feel free to ask us about the location.
Las Cuevas Beach Lodge
